The Sun Millies go Digital

It's nearly time to start my venture into the world of NFT art(Non-fungible tokens). This has been a steep learning curve just to understand what an NFT is, and how they can be utilised by artists. There is plenty of information on the internet about NFts but it is still quite a strange concept for a lot of people, myself included.

I look at it in its most basic form as a way of selling my art in a digital form with a proof of ownership for the buyer. The buyer can trade the artwork for a profit or keep it as a potential investment. The NFT is stored on a blockchain like crypto transactions, and is part of a big and growing market to trade and invest in collectibles and have proof of ownership.

My first listings will come in late September with my characters The Sun Millies that appear all over my work. When the Sun Millies NFT Tokens are Minted (created)I will make a blog update and explain more about this journey.

The listings will appear on the largest NFT marketplace Opensea https://opensea.io/ by the end of September.
